We do not post submissions that have already appeared on another site. For those that wish to enter a submissions contest, Brainburst recommends sending your submissions to PlayorDraw.com.

  • All submissions should be properly checked for typos, spelling, and grammar. Submissions that are sloppy or which contain numerous errors will not be considered for publication. Please check the Submission Tips for a full run-down on things to watch out for.

  • Submissions that include slander, profanity, significant hostility, or are otherwise deemed to be inappropriate will not be accepted.

  • Submissions should be emailed to Submit@Brainburst.com.

  • When writing your submission, please make sure not to use any tab strokes, as "tabs" can have unpredictable effects during the coding process. Instead, please use a return stroke to denote a new paragraph. (i.e. put a blank line between each paragraph or better yet place between each paragraph.) We prefer that articles be submitted in Plain TEXT format only. Also, articles on a new deck idea without any testing involved or matchup strategy usually don't make the cut.

  • Brainburst maintains the right to edit submissions for content and/or length as necessary. All rights for publication and usage are reserved by Brainburst. To protect both the site and our authors, plagiarism of any article(s) or original content material on Brainburst will not be tolerated. Any such action should be assumed to be an invitation to legal action. We regret the necessity of such harshness, but plagiarism is theft, and we will treat it as such.

  • When emailing any submission, please place any information not intended for submission in brackets [ ] at the top of the email. For example:

[The following is a review of the recent expansion set. It has not been submitted to any other sites.]

    article text would begin here.

  • Finally, as a legal note, all views expressed in any submission on Brainburst are of course those of the author(s), and in no way should be taken to indicate those of Brainburst. Also, all material sent in to us and displayed on the site will become the property of Brainburst.com and are thus covered under the Copyright Laws.
