My only issue with Sphinx in this list is the mana cost. Granted, my curve is intentionally pretty low, but running 23 lands could make it difficult to rely on the sphinx. Could probably try a 3 or 4 drop that is either resilient or produces advantage on its own. Believe it or not, I actually considered Messenger Falcons because it cantrips..but its not good enough, imo...

Good point. The only thing that scares me about running Oring against jund is Maelstrom Pulse. Obviously these are excellent suggestions, but Jund (being the best deck out there atm) has answers to most of the problems. Another answer would be to run Ajani Goldmane, as most of my dudes are utility protection bears...but that suffers the same vulnerability to Maelstrom Pulse...though it would give my protection guys free reign to dive in for damage AND block just about everything.. hrmm

dont underestimate the power of messenger falcons lol it gives card advantage and that plus knight of new alara or behemoth sledge is still pretty good.
