i haven't played with or against this build, but i was curious if it would be possible to use summoner's pact to get the heritage druid? if you're comboing anyway it might not be a bad play. also then you could have some silver bullets or something...probably not perfect but just a thought.

 no rares?

You said the deck contains no rares, but you have 9 rare lands and 3 timeshifted. Do you have a possible budget build for this deck?

NO rares? Check again my friend. Plus, this deck is aweful. I've never seen a less consistant combo deck in my life. Furystoke Giant just sits in your hand. The melody, promenade, heritage and roar are your combo and yes, it does work, but only barely. There has to be a better way of pulling this off. This will require some looking into. It almost feels like Extended would be a better home for this, especially with what's available there. I apologize for not being more helpful, but I'm just baffled by this.

It seems like you could turn this into an overrunnin' elf deck to address the consistency problem. Replace the giants with either Elvish Prefect or Garruk, replace the distant melody with overrun or garruk (budget depending). You could still splash red for roar, but would have could ditch the need for blue to help the mana production (?).
