I played the BWG deck (The Brooklyn Bug) at the Chicago MMS Q, and it felt Tier 2 with the possibility of being tweaked and re-tooled to be Tier 1. But moving forward, what deck should I be focusing on? Here's my contenders.

Grand Prix Barcelona certainly did not fail to produce what is sure to be a major metagame shift. So in light of all this new data, what direction will the metagame move next? The deck I am most excited about is an amped up version of the Junk deck.

While Boros is strong, I feel like there is a stronger Stoneforge Mystic deck than either Boros or Caw-Blade. I went deep into the tank and brainstormed a handful of promising strategies that may hold the key to breaking Standard wide open.

Today I'm going to talk about EV at TCGplayer 10K Weekends, financial advice, and my choice deck in Standard. This more aggressive version of Caw-Blade to seems very well-positioned right now and there really isn't much that beats it outright.

This week I want to talk more about Standard as a whole now that MBS has hit the scene. BUG is still my choice, and even with my underpowered list (suboptimal for the tournament) I came in T8 at the New Orleans $5K.
