Okay, I'm just getting right into this because holy moly there is ONE full-art land in the top 10 this week: Swamp from Amonkhet! This is a really dumb thing to get excited about, but I'm gonna tell you — I hate putting those stupid lands in the Top 10 every week. That said, I have to include them, because without them, I'd have to call it the Top 10 Sellers That Aren't Non-Full Art Lands or something dumb like that. Doesn't really roll off the tongue!

Next up is Shrine of Burning Rage. It fell a little far from last week's Top 10, but that's to be expected. It's a strong piece of tech for the Modern Burn deck, but the price has been trending up since that build won a Grand Prix. As good as Shrine of Burning Rage is, even the best cards don't sell as well when the price starts to spike. Shrine of Burning Rage will continue to trend down in sales.

Sheltered Thicket is one of Standard's most reliable cycling lands, seeing play in both Temur Energy and ramp strategies. Standard's really fast at the moment; most decks don't have the time or the extra mana lying around to make cycling lands work, but Temur and ramp do, making a land that cycles AND produces red and green mana pretty clutch.

Gifted Aetherborn featured in a Patrick Chapin Grixis deck that got a feature match at Grand Prix Denver. I doubt all the people buying Gifted Aetherborn saw that feature match — they are all just riding the wave of sales. A lot of #mtgfinance is just a series of lemmings and cliffs.

Aether Hub, on the other hand, is going to be good as long as it's Standard-legal, because WotC maaaaay have overdone it on energy. The energy mechanic is really, really good.

Skysovereign, Consul Flagship is a beatdown against any non-red deck trying to win with creatures. It was the center of coverage discussions during Grand Prix Denver, but I think the card is less good know that it's such a known quality. Don't get me wrong, it's still great against Zombies and black-green, but I'm not scrambling to buy any more copies of this expensive vehicle.

Longtusk Cub is the best Grizzly Bear we've seen in a while. So much of the removal in Standard is damage-based, meaning Longtusk Cub as a 6/6 is almost unbeatable. And it only costs two! Longtusk Cub is great.

Abrade is also great. I was skeptical that Abrade was going to be better than Harnessed Lightning, since Harnessed Lightning has such a high ceiling on the potential damage it can do, but it turns out being able to mess with God-Pharaoh's Gift and other such game-breaking artifacts is a huge deal.

I did not expect Saheeli Rai to crack the top ten, but since the Felidar Guardian ban, her price tag has plummeted. Saheeli Rai has made an eensy crack into Modern, and I have faith that it'll prove to be a strong deck once more people start iterating on the archetype. I'm bullish on Saheeli Rai, given the market doesn't overreact to people buying the card.

The number-one selling card of the last week is Glorybringer. It check off a lot of the boxes of a card that traditionally sells well: it's cheap, it's in a set that was opened a lot, it's a rare (as opposed to a mythic rare), it's splashy, it's high-impact, it's powerful, it sees plenty of tournament play… the list goes on and on. As Standard trends more midrangey, Glorybringer will find its way into more and more red decks, either in sideboards or maindecks. There have been plenty of hasty five-mana dragons, but Glorybringer is the first one that comes with straight-up creature removal attached. Buying low on Glorybringer is smart; it's a strong card in a bloated Standard and can only get better once Battle for Zendikar and Shadows over Innistrad blocks rotate out of Standard.

That's it for this week. If you enjoyed the videos, subscribe to our YouTube channel. We put out one of these every week, plus more videos and analysis by the pros you love. Bye!
